With two words, Kanye West set off sneaker heads everywhere who've been waiting for the Yeezy basketball shoe to drop.
"Adding basketball," West wrote on Twitter Friday, along with a photo of several conceptual sketches of shoes.
"2019" is written beside the sketch of a basketball shoe. West has reportedly been working on the shoe for two years before signing off on a final product.
The shoes are expected to cost more than $225.
While they have the endorsement of West, whether actually basketball players take to the shoe has yet to be seen.
