The Hills are alive! After several cast members from MTV's seminal reality series reunited on the VMAs' red carpet Monday night, the network has officially announced that the show's being rebooted with the title The Hills: New Beginnings.
The reboot's first teaser features a new cover version of the show's theme song "Unwritten" (originally recorded by Natasha Bedingfield) while star Stephanie Pratt laments, "It’s like we’re all growing up. It’s weird."
While Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port, and Heidi and Spencer Pratt are also expected to return to the show, People reports that Kristin Cavallari "can't do the show" because of her Very Cavallari contract with E! Networks.
A premiere date for The Hills: New Beginnings has yet to be announced.
