Over the summer, Mary Halsey went viral with a karaoke version of Missy Elliott’s “Work It” and when Missy spotted the footage, she posted the video to social media, calling Mary her "funky white sister.”
Yesterday Mary was on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”and Ellen surprised Mary while she was performing “Work It” by having Missy join her.
Mary's face dropped but she managed to pull herself together to finish the song with her idol.
