Netflix has revealed the first look at the second season of Making a Murderer.
The trailer for the ten-episode season of the true crime series dropped on Tuesday and once again revolves around Steven Avery.
As IndieWire reports, in the first season of the documentary series, viewers learned how Wisconsinite Avery served 18 years in prison for a wrongful attempted murder conviction, only to be convicted in 2007 on a different murder charge.
Making a Murderer: Part 2 follows attorney Kathleen Wellner's efforts to overturn Avery's current conviction.
The dramatic, ominous trailer mentions unexpected cell phone pings and reexaminations of forensic tests that led to Avery's conviction.
Season two debuts on October 19.
