The Golden State Warriors have doubled down on their disapproval of Fergie’s National Anthem performance at the NBA All-Star Game last February.
ESPN reports that the team dissed the Grammy winner on social media last week, after Fergie's ex-husband Josh Duhamel told FS1's Kristine Leahy that Warriors star Draymond Green owed Fergie an apology.
The Warriors responded by posting a video of the team listening to a viral remix of the Fergie anthem rendition.
In the clip, Green can be seen dancing with teammates including Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and DeMarcus Cousins. For what it’s worth, Duhamel later tweeted, “Note to self: Think twice before you call out the champs. Well played @warriors.”
Green also lightened the mood by tweeting, “Hahaha. It was never any disrespect to her…But the challenge about to be lit, G!”
