Tori Spelling Confirms "90210" Reboot

Tori Spelling confirmed Friday in an Access Live interview that a reboot of the hit '90s teen drama Beverly Hills 90210 is officially in the works--with several original cast members in talks to return.

"It's confirmed. We're doing a new 90210 ," says the 45-year-old Spelling, who played longtime virgin Donna Martin on the show. "It is the OG crew back together."

She also hinted that the new show will be done in a mockumentary style. "We’re playing heightened versions of ourselves,” she explained. “We will intercut that with scenes from the show.”

However, she added that Luke Perry won't be able to reprise his role as brooding dreamboat Dylan McKay thanks to his role on the hit CW dramedy Riverdale , while Shannen Doherty's return is up in the air as she continues to battle breast cancer.

"We would love to have her on," Spelling said about Doherty, who played Brenda Walsh. "There is no status right now."

It's unclear when or on which network the reboot might premiere.
