The LeBron James-ledSpace Jam 2is officially set for release in summer 2021.
According toThe Hollywood Reporter, the long-anticipated sequel to the Michael Jordan-Bugs Bunny hit will be released by Warner Bros. on July 16, 2021.
The film is being produced by Black Panther filmmaker Ryan Coogler, while Terence Nance is set to direct.
The film will mark James' first starring role after a successful turn as a supporting character in the 2015 Amy Schumer comedy Trainwreck.
Also on Thursday, Warner Bros. announced that Godzilla Vs. Kong has moved up its release date from May 22, 2020 to March 13, 2020, and the third Annabelle movie has been moved up from July 3 to June 28 of this year.
