'Big Bang Theory' Cast Shares Emotional Photos From Their Last Table Read

The Big Bang Theory is coming to an end after twelve seasons. The cast sat down for it's final table read on Wednesday (April 24) and things got emotional. Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki, who have both appeared on the show for its entire run, shared behind the scenes photos from the special day.

"This morning was not an easy one,” Galecki, who plays Leonard on the show, wrote alongside a teary photo. "The final table reading forThe Big Bang Theory. So very sad. So very grateful."

Cuoco, who brought Penny to life on The Big Bang Theory, also shared a teary-eyed photo from the final table read. "Post table read," she captioned the emotional shot. Courteney Cox commented on her post, as well, saying "awww I remember that feeling...and you guys have been together even longer." Cuoco described the final script in another post, saying the last episode of The Big Bang theory ever has "truly given me a loss for words."

These behind-the-scenes photos weren't the first hint that the last few episodes were going to be super emotional. Showrunner Steve Holland told Entertainment Tonight that the last few episodes will be an “emotional journey” for both the cast and loyal, longtime viewers. “We’re excited and nervous and, like everybody who’s watching, we love these characters so much and we want to give them a send-off that they deserve,” he explained.

Are you excited for The Big Bang Theory finale? Or are you still crying after seeing these emotional tributes from the cast?
