Katy Perry's pregnant! The pop star shared that news at midnight on Thursday, when she dropped her brand-new video for her song "Never Worn White," according to Variety.
“Let’s call it a reveal,” Perry said about the video on Instagram, adding that a new album is also expected in the coming months. “I’m excited, we’re excited and we’re happy.”
In the video, Perry shows off her very visible baby bump toward the end of the clip. The song's lyrics are clearly about her fiancé and baby daddy Orlando Bloom, who she's been with for over three years. The lyrics reveal a desire to want to try to "get it right" in marriage.
She sings, “You asked the question / I said yes, but I’m scared."
The ballad's chorus alludes to the singer's first wedding to comedian Russell Brand in 2010; she did not wear a white wedding dress, opting instead for a gray Elie Saab gown.
"Cause I’ve never worn white / But I wanna get it right / Yeah, I really wanna try with you," she sings.
