Break out your night cheese, 30 Rock fans! In what is definitely not a "dealbreaker," Variety reports that the Tina Fey-created series will return to NBC for one night only next month in what the network calls "a first-of-its-kind, all-audience upfront event.”
The hourlong, commercial-free broadcast will find Fey and co-stars Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski, and Jack McBrayer helping to introduce NBC's new fall shows.
The episode will debut Thursday, July 16, at 8 p.m. ET and was filmed with social distancing in place.
This isn't the first beloved comedy to enjoy a reboot during the pandemic: Parks and Recreation likewise returned to NBC for a socially distanced, one-off episode in April as part of a fundraising telecast for COVID-19 relief.
