If You Find A Water Bottle On Your Car, Drive Away - You Might Be In Danger

We're living in some strange times right now but if something weird happens to you, you shouldn't just write it off. It's something one woman recently learned when she went to take out her trash and saw "1F" written in the snow on top of her trash can. She shared footage of it on TikTok and learned that she was being targeted and that the "1F" means a single female lived in that house.

Now, another odd thing happened to a different woman, and she too is warning others about it on TikTok. Haley West of Ohio posted a video from the parking lot of her local supermarket. In it, she explains that as she was walking to her car, a Lexus, a man began to walk close to her and stare at her. He asked her what her name is but she ignored him and continued to her car. Then, the guy said, "Come check out my car, it's nice, it's a Lexus, you like it?" and walked to her car. Not wanting him to know it is her vehicle but suspecting he already did, she instead went to a TJ Maxx across the street and got help. She left after some time passed when she was sure the guy was gone, but when she got to her car there was a bottle of water on her hood.

Unsure of what it meant, Haley said, "I don't know if the two correlate but that's never happened to me... I just wanted to say be aware of your surroundings at all times, especially if you're a woman, be careful out there."

Well among the many people who saw Haley's TikTok was a woman named Elle, who released a video of her own explaining just why that water bottle was there, and it is pretty chilling. She stated, "This is a tactic used by traffickers and kidnappers to get you to exit your vehicle and take whatever is on top of the car off. If you have this happen and something is on the hood of your car when you come back to it, leave it there, drive away it'll fall off on its own."

Elle goes on to suggest that if you still feel threatened, you drive to a police station or an auto body shop where they can check and see if a GPS tracker has been attached to your car.

Elle notes, "Traffickers don't care how old you are, they don't care what you're wearing they don't care about your size, if they want you, they'll try to get you." She recommends, "Always be aware of your surroundings, try to go shop with a friend I know it's hard during COVID, keep pepper spray or protective device on you. Please stay safe."
