RICH'S LIFE HACKS: THE HACK TO PEARLY WHITE TEETH

LIFE HACKS

THE HACK TO PEARLY WHITE TEETH

You just had a big meal, and you’re about to grab your toothbrush—STOP! JUST STOP!

Brushing your teeth right after eating can actually damage your enamel instead of protecting it.

When you eat, especially acidic foods like fruit or soda, your enamel softens temporarily. Brushing too soon scrapes away this softened layer before your saliva has a chance to neutralize acids and harden it again.

What to Do Instead:

Rinse your mouth with water for 30 seconds

Wait at least 30 minutes before brushing

Chew sugar-free gum to boost saliva production and protect your teeth

Pro Tip: Want fresh breath without harming your enamel? Try swishing with mouthwash instead!
