Meghan Markle Was Just Called A "Fat Lady" To Her Face

Meghan Markle made her second official appearance of the week on Wednesday (Jan. 16) with a visit to The Mayhew. In addition to rocking an extremely affordable (and chic, duh) dress from H&M, the Duchess of Sussex also got to play with a bunch of adorable dogs. Not sure who is cuter in this pic: Meghan holding her baby bump or the sweet little pup:

While greeting some women at The Mayhew, which is now one of Meg's royal patronages, the Duchess got a comment she definitely wasn't expecting. One of the women called Meghan a "fat lady," which was caught in a video by royal reporter Hannah Furness. She shared the exchange on Twitter, writing "do my ears deceive me? Quite possibly the first time the Duchess of Sussex has been called a "fat lady" and loved it."

The sweet elderly lady meant her comment as a compliment, of course, on Meghan's healthy first pregnancy. Her bump was prominently displayed in her form-fitting outfit during her visit. Meghan laughed out loud, telling her new friend: "I'll take it!"

While visiting Birkenhead earlier in the week, Meghan confirmed Baby Sussex will be arriving in late April/early May. Who's excited?
