Vegetable items from Walmart, Safeway/Albertson's, Target and Trader Joe's are being recalled in one of the biggest vegetable recalls ever.
More than 20 brands have been pulled in the US and Canada after a sampling of one of the wholesaler's products tested positive for listeria.
The bacteria can be serious and sometimes fatal for the elderly, young children or those with weakened immune systems. Symptoms include fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, loss of balance, and confusion.
So far there have been no reported illnesses from these products.
