Foods you should avoid according to your Zodiac Sign

ARIES (Mar 21 - Apr 19)- Burgers & Fries/ fast food

Aries you are always on the go! And people think the best thing for multitasking is fast food. Well, that’s wrong! Fast food might be easy but that doesn’t mean it does anything else for you. As someone who’s always running around, you need energy to get you through the day.

TAURUS (Apr 20 - May 20)- Sweets

Taurus, you know how good it feels to relax after a hard day at work with your favorite foods. You like treating yourself to nice things, especially food. You go for the cake, cookies, and pies.

Instead, consider some light snacks like veggies and fruit you eat while watching TV. You won’t feel as guilty if you overeat.

GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)- Take out like Chinese food

Everyone knows that a Gemini can be pretty indecisive. This is why you often go for the easiest choice, which is take out — instead of making a home-cooked meal.

Just because you’ve decided on take out for dinner doesn’t mean the choices stop there. Now you have to decide what kind of takeout and how much to order. Being indecisive can cause you to overeat. Instead, head to your local farmer’s market for fresh foods and explore cooking websites.

CANCER (June 21 - July 22)- Candy

You’ve got a lot going on in that head Cancer. One of the WORST things you can eat is candy. You can already be very moody and bounce from happy to sad, and nothing says “mood swings” like sugar-packed candy.

Trade out your candy stash for fruits that are just as sweet and have natural sugars; beyond that, there should be NO more extra sugar in your diet. Keep it natural!

LEO (July 23 - Aug 22)- Coffee

Leo, you put a lot of effort into making yourself known which is why you often choose strong foods and drinks to complement your personality.

Caffeine only makes you more high strung and foggy. Your diet needs to be packed full of foods and drinks that keep you clear-minded and healthy. Try naturally caffeinated drinks like teas.

VIRGO (Aug 23 - Sep 22)- Pastries

You like looking for easy foods you can eat on the go. Fast food isn’t necessarily your go-to, but things that really fill you up like granola bars, bagels, and donuts. Unfortunately, just because carbs fill you up doesn’t mean they won’t cause you problems.

Carbs can actually slow you down, making it harder for you to keep up with your responsibilities. Instead, stock your kitchen with naturally-energizing foods, such as blueberries, walnuts, and dark chocolate.

LIBRA (Sept 23 - Oct 22)- Processed foods

Libra, you try hard to stick to a balanced healthy diet. One thing you do pretty often is eat foods that have "low calories" and "zero sugar" labels.

Sometimes when foods have these labels, it often means they're compensating for something else. Be careful with things you see online and pay more attention to what makes you feel good.

You might think you're eating healthier, but you're really just filling your body with bad ingredients.

SCORPIO (Oct 23 - Nov 21)- Drinks (Alcohol)

There's nothing wrong with socializing and partying, but it's the alcohol that can make the biggest impact. Instead of pacing yourself, you can try to "keep up" with everyone else at the party and drink way too much.

It may make you feel good in the moment, but alcohol does all kinds of crazy things to your system, including skin problems, high blood pressure, and bloating.

Switch to fermented drinks like kombucha instead of the glass of wine at lunch.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22 - Dec 19)- Unhealthy snacks

Sagittarius, your eating habits can be an "all or nothing" deal. This means that you tend to eat too much or not at all, both habits that can seriously mess up your focus and energy throughout the day.

Chips, cookies, candy, you name it. You might not eat all day because you're busy and then munch on snacks. Instead, try eating small healthy meals throughout the day (like 5 or 6) for maximum energy, and stick to healthy foods like quinoa, greens, and nuts.

CAPRICORN (Dec 20 - Jan 19)- Heavy greasy foods

You should focus on actually cooking homemade meals instead of ordering take out or fast food. But just because its homemade, doesn’t make its healthy. Be careful with thick foods like mashed potatoes with a ton of gravy and pasta. Substitute them for veggies and maybe even some gluten-free options.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20 - Feb 18)- Pizza

You’re a sucker for favorite foods. Just because you think your favorite foods are safe doesn’t mean they are.

The worst foods for you are the ones that have hidden sugars. These foods (like wine, white rice, pastas and pizza) seem okay up front — because you’ve heard that carbs can be good for you — but they are very deceiving.

PISCES (Feb 19 - Mar 20)- Fried food

Pisces, you rely on your emotions and moods to help you make eating decisions through out the day.

Of course, when you are having a bad day or are dealing with low energy, you tend to turn to comfort foods – and not healthy ones.

The worst foods for you are fried foods. Fried chicken and French fries — all of it needs to go. Fried food can mess with your moods and actually make you feel more sad or sluggish. So, try grilled chicken instead of fried and sweet potato fries. It’ll make your body happier.
