Fox News is under hot water for using a photo of Patti LaBelle instead of a picture of Aretha Franklin for a tribute on her passing. It's the photo in the background that is the issue. It's a photo of LaBelle performing for former President Barack Obama at the White House in 2014.
And the other side of this is that apparently LaBelle and Franklin had a falling out too.
Fox News put it up yesterday morning during a tribute to the Queen of Soul right after learning of her passing. It was about a 3-minute long give or take package with performances and such. Yet, a lot of people noticed this one detail. Once you figure it out, you can really see the mishap. Since, Fox News has apologized for it.
