P!nk & Rihanna Turned Down Super Bowl Half Time Performance

Both P!nk and Rihanna have reportedly turned down being the Super Bowl Half Time performer this year according to the Today Show.

"Rihanna was the front-runner for next year’s Super Bowl halftime show," the source said. "CBS and the NFL reached out to Rihanna first, who after thinking about the offer, decided to pass due to the NFL and the situation regarding players kneeling."

Rihanna turned it down to support her friend, Colin Kaepernick, and P!nk turned it down after performing the National Anthem at last year's Super Bowl while having the flu - but her choice to drop out was due to negotiations not the protests.

It would have been cool to see either of them do the Halftime Show but maybe down the road we can see P!nk and if things change with the NFL, maybe Rihanna but till then we can just hope for new RiRi music!
