Shailene Woodley is officially passing on the Divergent TV movie Vanity Fair reports.
When asked at the Tuesday night premiere of her new HBO miniseries Big Little Lies if she would appear in the final installment of franchise, Woodley replied, "No. I'm not going to be on the television show."
The fourth chapter of the young adult series was previously scheduled for theatrical release, but after the third installment's poor showing at the box office, it was revealed that Ascendant would be developed into TV movie instead.
The movie will reportedly be a pilot for a spin-off TV series.
