Billboard is reporting that the Grammys are set to return to New York City in 2018.
The Madison Square Garden event will mark the ceremony's 60th anniversary and will be just its second appearance in the city in 17 years.
An official announcement will reportedly take place after this Sunday's ceremony, but officials close to the negotiations claim it is definitely going to happen.
Although the Grammys alternated between Los Angeles and New York for several decades, the arrangement ended in the '90s after a spat between Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and then-Recording Academy head Michael Green.
While the Grammys will then return to Los Angeles in 2019, New York hopes to host again in the future.
