Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed to Extra on Thursday that a third Sex and the City movie isn't happening, and rumor has it that co-star Kim Cattrall killed the project.
"It's over. We're not doing it," Parker said. "I'm disappointed. We had this beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story."
Meanwhile, The Daily Mail reports that Sex and the City 3 was shelved due to stalled negotiations with Cattrall.
The film had reportedly moved into pre-production with a script by Michael Patrick King and the three other co-stars, including Parker, on board.
Cattrall, however, wanted to hold out until Warner Bros. agreed to move forward with her other films in development, leading to Sex 3's demise.
