Justin Bieber’s Latin Grammy for “Despacito” was sent to music producer Carlos Escalona Cruz instead.
According to Cruz, the award arrived yesterday and he was waiting for his award for his work on March Anthony’s album, “March Anthony for Babies.” Instead he got Justin’s award for “Despacito (remix).”
Cruz thought it was a funny way to start 2018 and figured Justin might have his, but it’s unclear if Justin does.
The Latin Grammys apologized and asked Cruz to send the award back so they can ship it to Justin.
