Kelly Clarkson and her husband Brandon Blackstock left their 1-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter at home for the first time ever when she performed at the NFL Tailgate Party on Sunday.
"It's because they're not allowed in any of the shows because you have to be 21 and over. I didn't want them just sitting in a hotel," she tells E! News.
"My husband was like, 'Yeah we should probably just leave them back home!' He's like a dude who is like, 'Let's have a date night!'"
She goes on to admit, "We did get really good sleep last night." But while Clarkson "panicked' about being away from her kids, her daughter was unfazed. "She didn't give a crap!" Clarkson joked.
