Twitter Trolls Emma Watson's Oscars Time’s Up Tattoo Error

Internet trolls took aim at Emma Watson on Monday, after the actress debuted a grammatically inaccurate temporary tattoo during Sunday’s Vanity Fair Oscars party.

Page Six reports that Watson showed up with the words "Times Up” written in script on her arm. Twitter was quick to point out, however, that her message was missing an apostrophe.

"'Times Up’? Sans apostrophe? Might want to look into a refund for that Brown University bachelor’s degree in English Literature,” one user tweeted.

Another quipped, “Sure, sure, Emma Watson’s misspelled ‘Times Up’ tattoo is actually 4D chess to get more people talking about it.” Watson, who has been a vocal advocate of both the Time’s Up and #MeToo movements, addressed the error online.

“Fake tattoo proofreading position available,” she tweeted. “Experience with apostrophes a must.”
