Demi Lovato admits she’s been using the direct message feature on social media to pursue her crushes.
“I’m normally the first one to make the move,” Lovato says in InStyle’s April issue. “I’m always the one who says, ‘Let me get your number.’ Or I slide into their DMs on Instagram.”
However, the 25-year-old singer goes on to say that finding a partner isn’t her top priority right now.
“I’m not suffering because I’m alone,” she continues. “There were many years I was in a relationship and I wasn’t learning about myself. Now I’m learning about what I like, what I need, and what I want.”
Lovato dated Wilmer Valderrama for six years before they called it quits in 2016.
In recent years, she’s confirmed that she is “very fluid” when it comes to her sexuality and is open to dating a woman or a man.
