Chrissy Teigen announced on Twitter this weekend that she's quitting Snapchat over its ad mocking Chris Brown and Rihanna.
"I stopped using Snap," the 32-year-old said on Saturday. "The update, the constant complaints of people not being able to find me, plus the Rihanna poll...no bueno."
Earlier this month, Snapchat came under fire for a new ad that asked users, "Would you rather slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown?" RiRi caused Snapchat to shed $800 million in value when she took to social media to slam the promo.
"Now SNAPCHAT I know you already know you ain't my fave app out there!" she wrote. "But I'm just trying to figure out what the point was with this mess. I'd love to call it ignorance, but I know you ain't that dumb! You spent money to animate something that would intentionally bring shame to [domestic violence] victims and made a joke of it...Throw the whole app-ology away."
