Cardi B revealed in a radio interview on Tuesday that she's set to lose money performing at Coachella this month.
The "Bodak Yellow" rapper explained that she's only being paid $70,000 per weekend for the two-weekend event, but that her production costs are more than double that.
"I'm getting paid for Coachella, like, 70 bandos a day...I have to invest so much money on my stage set, my own money that I gotta go to Wells Fargo and write a check," she explained. "Like almost 300 thou...It's an investment."
She added that the festival is getting her for such a steal because organizers booked her "like, six months ago" before she became A-list famous.
In addition, it seems she'd never heard of the renowned musical event at the time. "I didn't know that Coachella was just such a big deal like that," she said. "I did not know it was a lot of people."
