Justin Bieber is being sued for allegedly punching a man and calling him racial slurs during an altercation outside a hotel in Cleveland, Ohio.
According to documents obtained by Billboard, Bieber allegedly removed Rodney Cannon's sunglasses without permission and put them on.
When Cannon then took Bieber's picture, the pop star’s "demeanor dramatically changed” and he began "aggressively threatening" to harm Cannon if he did not delete the photograph.
Cannon also alleges that Bieber used racial epithets while insulting him and punched him in the face, head, and body. Cannon says the incident caused him physical and emotional harm. He is seeking damages to be decided at trial.
The incident was initially reported in 2016 when footage leaked online.
