Demi Lovato returned to social media on Sunday to tells fans she “will keep fighting” following her drug overdose on July 24.
“I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time,” Lovato wrote on Instagram.
“It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet." She went on to thank her fans, family, team, and the staff at Cedars-Sinai for their “love and support” in the days since her hospitalization.
She continued, “I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery.” It’s still unclear if the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer will check into a rehab facility.
