James Corden revealed on The Late Late Show this week that he’s tried to get Kanye West to do a Carpool Karaoke segment twice--but that the rapper kept canceling.
Corden made the reveal during a round of “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts” with Kanye’s mother-in-law Kris Jenner on Tuesday.
“He’s canceled twice, maybe even three times,” Corden explained.
“He canceled once as I was turning the corner to his house. I was in a car, and by the time the call finished, I was sat outside his house, and they were like, ‘He’s not in the zone for it right now. We’ll do it another time.’”
Corden also revealed that Kanye’s flakiness cost the show $45,000, but the rapper apologized with a pair of Yeezy sneakers and “flowers in a cube.”
One of the questions James asked Kris was, “You've been spotted wearing a massive diamond ring on your wedding finger. Are you and Corey Gamble engaged?"
Kris chuckled and said no.James then said, "I mean, the ring's right there. It’s a real giveaway.”
Kris said, “This isn't the ring," to which James replied, "But there is a ring!"Kris laughed and ate a cricket.
