This week, Kanye West declared that he's moving back to his beloved hometown of Chicago. But is he making the move alone?
Sources tell People wife Kim Kardashian has no plans to shift her family's home base from her native L.A. "Kim plans on spending more time in Chicago, but she isn’t moving there full-time," one insider says.
"Everything is working great. Kim doesn’t think a permanent move to Chicago benefits the kids. Also, Kim wants to be around her family as much as possible too. She loves their new house and it finally feels like a home to her."
The source adds, "She will be supportive of Kanye’s plans...She is just going along with his plans because it makes him happy. Next week, something else might make him happier.”
Meanwhile, Us Weekly claims both Kanye and Kim will continue to live in California full-time. "Yes, they have bought a house in Chicago...where they will spend a lot of time," another source says.
"The family can unwind a bit and not be hounded by photographers."
