Kylie Jenner has been hit with a lawsuit for allegedly stealing her “Born to Sparkle” eyeshadow from another brand.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Sheree Cosmetics claims Jenner’s “Born to Sparkle” item was copied directly from their palette of the same name that had been released 10 months prior.
“We feel the need to protect our business,” Sheree Cosmetics founder Tiffany Herrmann tells The Daily Mail.
“We worked really hard for it, and we just want to make sure we protect Sheree Cosmetics and our ideas.”
While court documents show Sheree Cosmetics filed the trademark for “Born to Sparkle” on August 30, Kylie Cosmetics released its eyeshadow on August 6.
