Fans of Cardi B are outraged that Offset interrupted the "I Like It" rapper's set at the Rolling Loud festival in Los Angeles on Saturday to beg her to take him back.
As seen in fan-recorded footage, stagehands rolled out three boxes onstage that spelled out “Take Me Back Cardi” in what appeared to be flowers.
The Migos rapper then appeared with a bouquet in hand to tell Cardi, “In front of the world, I love you.” Cardi, who was the first female in history to headline the festival, seemed irritated and responded to Offset at length off the microphone.
Offset then walked off the stage and stagehands wheeled off his tribute to her. Cardi B later addressed the situation in an Instagram video, saying that fans slamming her “baby father” are “not going to make me feel any better.”
“It became public, and I just want things to die down,” she continued. “I just need time so we can see eye to eye. I can’t predict the future, I don’t know.”
