Bebe Rexha will attend the 2019 Grammy Awards, but she’s having trouble with designers that are refusing to dress her.
She went on Twitter to express her frustration with some designers who refuse to dress her because she isn’t a runway size.
In a video, the singer said, “So I finally get nominated at the Grammys, and it's like the coolest thing ever. A lot of times, artists will go and talk to designers, and they'll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet, right? Like, you'll go to any big designer. So I had my team hit out a lot of designers, and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I'm too big. Literally, I'm too big. If a size 6-8 is too big then I don't know what to tell you. I don't wanna wear your f--king dresses 'cause that's crazy!"
She continued. "You're saying that all the women in the world that are size 8 and up are not beautiful and they cannot wear your dresses?"Bebe ended her video with this, “To all the people that say I'm thick and I can't wear dresses: F--k you! I don't wanna wear your f--king dresses.”
Bebe is nominated for Best New Artist and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for her song featuring Florida Georgia Line, "Meant to Be."
The Grammy Awards will broadcast live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 10 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
