Jimmy Kimmel admitted on Monday's Watch What Happens Live that transitioning from lovers to friends with ex Sarah Silverman wasn't as easy as it probably looked.
"I would say that it took some time, definitely. It definitely took some time," the 51-year-old Kimmel revealed about becoming buds with the 48-year-old funny woman.
“It was never where we didn’t like each other, hated each other, but it definitely took some time to be comfortable enough to be friends again.”
The couple dated for seven years before calling it quits in 2009; in 2017, Silverman joked on Jimmy Kimmel Live that their relationship "really is over" after he welcomed his second child with wife Molly McNearney.
