Kris Humphries' marriage to Kim Kardashian in 2011 lasted less than three months--but the NBA player is adamant that it was "100 percent real."
In a blog post published on Tuesday by The Player's Tribune, the former Nets player reminisced on his relationship with the reality star and "the dark place" he was in after their divorce.
"I was definitely naive about how much my life was going to change," he recalls. "But the one thing that really bothers me is whenever people say that my marriage was fake."
In the same blog post, Humphries announced his retirement from the NBA after 13 seasons.
