Kim Kardashian took to social media on Monday to defend her decision to study law and take the California State Bar in the hopes of becoming an attorney.
“Last year I registered with the California State Bar to study law,” Kardashian captioned an Instagram photo that shows her alongside her two mentors, attorneys Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney. “For the next four years, a minimum of 18 hours a week is required, I will take written and multiple choice tests monthly.”
Kardashian went on to explain that her first year studying law is “almost coming to an end” and that she is currently preparing to take “the baby bar, a mini version of the bar exam.”
She went on to criticize those who have mocked and belittled her career move. “I want people to understand that there is nothing that should limit your pursuit of your dreams, and the accomplishment of new goals," she wrote.
"You can create your own lanes, just as I am.”
