After turning heads on the red carpet with a flowing, pastel-colored J. Mendel dress, Taylor Swift entertained the audience at the TIME 100 gala with a mini-set featuring some of her biggest hits.
She strapped on an acoustic guitar for "Style" and "Delicate," turned to the piano for “Love Story” and “New Year’s Day,” and closed with a brisk, guitar-driven take on “Shake It Off.”
During her performance, Swift expressed her gratitude for the performance opportunity. “Hi, I'm Taylor...I’m so completely honored to get to perform for this incredible group of people," she said.
"I’m honored to be with you while you’re honored. I hope you guys have the best night ever and just keep doing what you’re doing, because I appreciate you so much, and I’m so happy to be in this room with you.”
