Radar Online has learned that Beyoncé was notably absent from the Met Gala on Monday because she didn’t want to be around celebrities that aren’t on her level.
“Beyoncé feels like she is so much above everyone there,” a source confirms, adding that the main reason she and JAY-Z skipped the party was due to the fact she “did not want to relive” the elevator scandal involving her sister Solange.
As fans likely remember, a leaked three-minute video from the 2014 Met Gala showed Bey’s sister punching and kicking Jay in an elevator.
Four days after the footage was leaked, the three released a joint statement saying they were moving forward “as a united family.”
