Robert Pattinson is reportedly in negotiations to play the titular character in Matt Reeves’ forthcoming superhero film,The Batman.
Sources tell Variety that it’s not yet a done deal, but that Pattinson is the top choice and it’s expected to close shortly. In the meantime, Warner Bros. has yet to comment on the reports.
Reeves took on directing duties from Ben Affleck in January 2017 and has been developing the elusive project ever since.
The Batman is scheduled to hit theaters June 25, 2021.
