With the rebooted Hills returning to MTV on Monday, it's only fitting that another trashy reality-TV treasure,The Simple Life, might get relaunched. But if it does, there'll likely be a whopper of a casting change, with Lindsay Lohan hitting the sticks alongside Paris Hilton instead of original co-star Nicole Richie.
As BuzzFeed notes, the show's Twitter account randomly tweeted a blonde and redhead emoji on Tuesday, and then "basically confirmed" that the frenemies would pair up.
"Keep your friends close and your enemies closer," read the caption atop a photo of Lohan and Hilton in happier times.
Lately, the two have been exchanging barbs, with Hilton telling Andy Cohen on multiple occasions that she thinks LiLo's a LiLoser.
To that end, her MTV reality show, Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club, was just canceled after one season when the club abruptly closed down.
