Angelina Jolie returns as the titular villainous fairy in the first trailer for Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
Released on Monday, the teaser picks up several years after the events of 2014’s Maleficent and finds Aurora (Elle Fanning) and her horned godmother fighting over her newly-announced engagement to Prince Phillip.
The new footage also shows Michelle Pfeiffer’s character Queen Ingrith attempt to stake her claim as Aurora’s guardian.
According toVariety, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil debuts in theaters on October 18.
