The Thierry Mugler original dress that Kim Kardashian West wore to the 2019 Met Gala was beautiful--but extremely uncomfortable. "I have never felt pain like that in my life," West tells People of the corset she had to wear under the dress.
In fact, in a fitting before the Gala, three staffers had to help her into the custom-made nude piece--which left indentations on her back and stomach. She even got special breathing lessons from famed corset maker Mr. Pearl.
Some people suspected that the star had ribs removed or that she had done something else to be able to fit in the dress.
Kardashian's trainer Melissa Alcantara, however, defended her by saying, "I see all the work she does outside of the gym and THAT is commendable!”
