Dakota Johnson fans are in mourning after the actress showed up at the premiere of her new filmThe Peanut Butter Falcon last week without her signature gap between her two front teeth.
“RIP #DakotaJohnson’s gap teeth,” one Twitter user lamented. “Gone but never forgotten.” Tweeted another, “This is the saddest I’ve ever been." One fan even jokingly tweeted, "Please sign my petition to reopen Dakota Johnson’s gap teeth."
The 29-year-old Johnson seemingly had a good sense of humor about her tooth gap before apparently undergoing minor dental surgery to close it up.
Back in 2017, she starred in a YouTube video forVanity Fair titled, "How Much Stuff Can Dakota Johnson Fit in Her Gap Teeth?"
After joking that fitting things inside her gap was her "only skill," Johnson went on to successfully stick toothpicks, a credit card, a chopstick, a cherry stem, and $1,100 cash between her two front teeth.
