Scooter Braun's a "Lover," not a fighter! On Friday, the A-list music manager and new owner of Big Machine Records took to Twitter to congratulate nemesis Taylor Swift on the release of her latest album.
"Regardless of what has been said, the truth is you don’t make big bets unless you are a believer and always have been. Brilliant album with #Lover," Braun wrote. "Congrats @taylorswift13. Supporting was always the healthier option."
He ended his post with the hashtags "#brilliantalbum" and "#brilliantcampaign."
Perhaps not surprisingly, Swifties were quick to diss Braun's olive branch of a tweet. "Today is a celebration of Taylor’s artistry, not your financial 'bets,'" one fan replied. "Keep her name and her album (that you don’t own) out of your mouth!"
Swift said this week that she plans to re-record her back catalog now that Braun owns her first six albums.
