Taylor Swift took a jab at her former label head Scott Borchetta for partnering with Scooter Braun in a new interview with CBS Sunday Morning.
“I knew he would sell my music. I knew he would do that," Swift says about Borchetta and his Big Machine Label Group, which put out her first six albums. "I couldn’t believe who he sold it to, because we’ve had endless conversations about Scooter Braun.”
Swift goes on to reference the $300 million price tag Borchetta sold the label for, adding, “And he has 300 million reasons to conveniently forget those conversations.”
Swift has also said she plans to re-record her first five albums starting in November 2020.
Swift's seventh studio album, Lover --her first since her Big Machine contract ended last November--was released on Friday.
