Sources confirmed to Us Weekly on Monday that Miley Cyrus’ new fling Kaitlynn Carter attended Cyrus’ rehearsal for the 2019 Video Music Awards earlier in the day.
Carter was spotted at the run-through at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, at around 2 p.m. A source told the outlet earlier this month that Carter and Cyrus bonded over their recent splits. Cyrus’ ex Liam Hemsworth filed for divorce from the pop singer last week, while Carter and Brody Jenner split earlier this month.
During the awards ceremony, Cyrus performed her new single “Slide Away,” which was seemingly inspired by her breakup from Hemsworth.
