Taylor Swift goes all in on nemesis Kanye West in a new Rolling Stone interview. The pop star begins by admitting that she used to "so badly want...respect from him" after he infamously interrupted her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
She then reveals that before the 2015 VMAs, West asked her to present his Vanguard Award to him. "So I wrote this speech," she says, "and then we get to the VMAs and I make this speech and he screams, 'MTV got Taylor Swift up here to present me this award for ratings!'"
She continues, "I realized he is so two-faced. That he wants to be nice to me behind the scenes, but then he wants to look cool, get up in front of everyone and talk s**t."
She claims he sent her flowers to make amends after that moment, only to then diss her all over again in his 2016 track "Famous."
Swift ultimately concludes about West, "I’m done with this. If you want to be on bad terms, let’s be on bad terms, but just be real about it..Basically, I got really sick of the dynamic between he and I."
