Cardi B's acting career is moving at a "fast and furious" pace after the rapper made her big-screen debut in Hustlers last month.
On Tuesday, Vin Diesel revealed on Instagram that Cardi's now joined the cast of the upcoming Fast and Furious 9. "Day 86 here on the set of Fast 9...I know I'm exhausted," Diesel says in a video as Cardi sits behind him.
"We all gave every single thing we could for this movie. Put it all on the table. Put it all out there." Cardi then pipes up to declare, "I'm tired! But I can't wait! I ain't gonna front, this is gonna be the best one!"
The clip ends with Diesel reminding fans that Fast 9 is scheduled to arrive in theaters on May 2020.
EW reports that Cardi B's role is a "small" one and that details about her character as still unknown. Earlier this month, Cardi B said on Ellen that she plans to keep acting because "I enjoy the checks."
