Britney Spears Documentary Says 2007 Breakdown Was Worse Than People Knew

A new documentary claims Britney Spears' life may have been in danger at the time of her infamous 2007 breakdown, Page Six reports.

In Britney Spears – Breaking Point, which aired Sunday in the UK, a source say that if her father hadn't intervened during that period, "things could have been very different. I don’t think she would still be with us today.”

The documentary also makes explosive claims about some of the people who worked security for the singer around the time of her head-shaving incident.

According to Esther Tognozzi, the salon owner where Spears shaved her own head, some of the singer's security team were taking bribes from paparazzi in exchange for access to the singer.

I had blinds at the side of the salon back then. I had a sliding glass door and I kept saying, ‘There’s nobody over there, why do you keep opening up the blinds?’" Tognozzi said. "Well, I found out days later why he was opening the blind because a photographer was hiding there to take pictures."
