A source close to Selena Gomez tells People that the singer had a panic attack before hitting the stage for her AMAs performance on Sunday.
"It threw her off. She did sound better at rehearsal," the source says. "She was nervous. She hasn’t been on stage in two years, and she really wanted to deliver.”
The source adds that Gomez was later able to settle down and enjoy her big night. “She had fun afterwards with her friends and family and was in good spirits,” the insider said. In related news, Hailey Bieber apparently "liked" what she saw from the singer, Us Weekly reports.
Bieber liked an Instagram video posted by Gomez's makeup artist Hung Vanngo that showed Gomez's final look before she took the stage to open the show on Sunday.
